STRASSE is a young, growing Indo-Quebec enterprise, practicing eco-responsible and fair-trade ethics!
Their products are made from 100% recycled silk taken from Indian saris. The sari is the bright-colored traditional garment worn by Indian women.
STRASSE collaborates with Indian craftsmen and craftswomen working according to traditional methods, including hand-stitching.
Their employees are mainly Rajasthan women facing a limited access to the workforce.
They remunerate their employees with living wages and do not employ children.

Where does the name STRASSE come from?
Strasse is the waste material of silk. Thus we mean to signify our commitment to recreate and make anew used materials by transforming them into high quality products.
