*Ripstop is a 100% nylon, it has a subtle, tone on tone, woven grid pattern- that stops rips. Ripstop has a similar look and feel to the nylon used to make parachutes, windbreaker jackets( K-ways) and tents. It had a coating on one side that makes it water-resistant. It is more resilient and much stronger than regular nylon.
